YouTuber Theo Baker was stretchered off in agony during the first half of the Sidemen versus YouTube All-Stars match.

On the half hour mark of the contest at the London Stadium, Baker shaped up to take a shot on from range on the edge of the box, only to sky his effort well over the crossbar.

However, almost immediately after taking the shot, Baker went down in a heap, clutching his hip in agony as he lay on the ground.

Physio's rushed onto the pitch at the London Stadium to ensure the YouTube star, who has 1.19million subscribers on the platform, was ok.

However, he would soon be stretchered off with his hands over his head, looking thoroughly gutted to have been injured on what was a big day for the YouTube community.

Back in November 2020, Baker revealed to his subscribers that he may need surgery on his hip, outlining in a video that he had been having trouble with groin injuries for a number of years.

Fast forward to September 2022, and Baker had to undergo surgery on his hip. "It is currently 6am in the morning, and I'm heading to the hospital for my surgery," said Baker in one of his YouTube vlogs on the day of his surgery.

"Finally, after all the years, I'm getting that hip surgery. Come on! Am I nervous? No. Fingers crossed it goes well!"

On the YouTube stream of the Sidemen vs YouTube All-Stars match, it was unclear how severe the injury Baker suffered was.

But after seeing him fall to a heap in real-time, plenty of his fans jumped onto social media to send the YouTube All-Star their well wishes, with the crowd at the London Stadium cheering him off the pitch too.

One fan wrote: "Wishing Theo Baker a speedy recovery." A second added: "That’s absolutely devastating for Theo Baker, he’s struggled with injury for such a long time only for this to happen.

A third added: "So sad for him he was one of the best players on the pitch today." And a fourth commented: "Get better soon king."
