England’s kit for Euro 2024 – which appears to have been leaked – has been given the thumbs up by fans.

The Three Lions will be one of the favourites for glory in Germany next summer after reaching the final of Euro 2020 and topping their qualifying group with two games to spare. As usual for a major tournament, Harry Kane and Co will don a new kit. And, as is the norm, the home side will be white.

Images of the new kit, produced by Nike, seem to have been leaked, having been published by the Footy Headlines site. And the early reaction is positive, with fans enjoying the retro looks which reminds them of the simpler kits of the 1980s and Italia 90, the iconic World Cup where Paul Gascoigne starred and England lost on penalties to West Germany in the semi-finals.

“Vibes 1990s, it's coming home,” declared one happy fan. Another said: “Very retro and clean looking. Good job.”

A third remarked: “Italy 90 vibes.” A confident fourth fan posted: “The leaked new England kit absolutely reeks of Euros triumph.” Another simply declared: “That is beautiful.”

However, some fans aren’t convinced by the design while others would like to see England revert back to the Umbro-style kit worn in 1990.

“The England team's shirts were prettier when they were manufactured by Umbro,” said one supporter. Another added: “Not great, not bad, and nothing like the predictions.”

It is unclear when the kits for the Euros will be launched. Gareth Southgate’s side complete their qualifying campaign at home to Malta on November 17 and away to North Macedonia on November 20. England will then meet Belgian and Brazil in Wembley friendlies next March.
