West Ham make David Moyes decision after one win in seven Premier League games

West Ham are unlikely to offer David Moyes a contract extension beyond next summer, according to reports.

The Hammers have just one win in their last seven Premier League games and are now on a run of three defeats in a row after Brentford beat them 3-2 at the weekend. The poor form leaves the Conference League champions 11th in the table after 11 played.

talkSPORT claim Moyes' job is safe for now despite the poor form – but the chances of him still being in the London Stadium dugout next season are slim. The Scot, 60, probably won't be given a new deal, with his current one expiring at the end of the campaign.

"That is why I am annoyed that I've come here and not been able to defend when put under pressure. We're talking about small things, but small things lead to bigger things. We didn't deal well enough with the small things."

West Ham have already faced Brighton, Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa – five of the teams who finished in the top seven last season. Their upcoming fixture schedule reads much kinder, starting with Nottingham Forest at home next weekend and followed up by a trip to Burnley after the international break.
