Man Utd players' feelings towards Jadon Sancho after latest Erik ten Hag spat
Manchester United currently don’t plan to terminate Jadon Sancho’s contract amid his public rift with manager Erik ten Hag, according to reports. Sancho’s exclusion in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Arsenal has sparked a row at the start of the international break, leaving his Old Trafford future in limbo.
Ten Hag left the 23-year-old winger at home for the trip to the Emirates Stadium, naming teenage midfielder Dan Gore on the bench in his place.
The Dutchman later cited the reason as Sancho’s performances in training, stating he must reach the levels expected at United.
But shortly after his eye-catching post-match interview, Sancho took to social media with an explosive statement, claiming he had been made a ‘scapegoat’ and believed his training output had been ‘very good’.
On Monday, the Guardian reported that United are standing by Ten Hag’s criticism of his No 25, opting against making a public statement of their own.
The incident has left Sancho’s long-term future at Old Trafford in doubt as he continues to underwhelm three years after his £72million arrival from Borussia Dortmund.
However, Sky Germany claim a contract termination isn’t currently in consideration ahead of crunch talks between Sancho and Ten Hag during the international break.

United went down a similar route to offload Cristiano Ronaldo when the unsettled striker produced an unsanctioned interview with Piers Morgan slamming different areas of the club last November.
And more recently, the Red Devils terminated Eric Bailly’s contract after Ten Hag froze him out of his plans. He completed a free transfer to Besiktas on Monday.
But Ten Hag has stressed the importance of having competition in every position in his team, which has inspired United’s busy transfer activity since he took charge.
Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are firmly the first-choice pairing at left wing, but Antony lacks experienced rivals on the right.
