Manchester United fan have demanded the club re-sign David de Gea after Andre Onana’s latest Champions League horror show.
Erik ten Hag’s side were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw against Galatasaray despite leading 2-0 and 3-1. Just when United were looking comfortable at two goals up, Onana conceded from Hakim Ziyech free-kicks, with the second to make it 3-2 especially shambolic.
Buoyed by that gift, Galatasaray drew level thanks to Kerem Akturkoglu’s stunning strike. With both sides needing a win to keep their destiny in their own hands, there were chances at either end before the final whistle.

United must now hope Copenhagen don’t beat Bayern Munich tonight. They will then need to beat the German champions in their final group, and hope for the right result in the group’s other final group match. Onana was a big-money replacement for De Gea, who was ruthlessly dumped by United in the summer after 12 seasons at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard remains a free agent and, given Onana’s struggles, some United fans have demanded he be brought back to the club. One fumed: “De Gea was never this bad.” Another offered: “I'll apologise on behalf of the club. Please come back @D_DeGea.”

A third raged: “Onana is simply rubbish!!! Again, where are the idiots that were abusing David DeGea??? Onana is pathetic and needs to be replaced!!!”
Another said: “Make your apologies now. De Gea was the key for us but they hounded him out.” A fifth commented: “OK, it may be time to re-sign De Gea. Just God awful by Onana.”
De Gea, 33, is reportedly biding his time before making his next move, with clubs in the Saudi Pro League and the United States, including Inter Miami, said to be interested in signing the stopper.
