Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood bagged a brace in Getafe’s 12-0 demolition of fifth-tier Tardienta in the Copa del Rey.
The 22-year-old fired from close range to open his account on after some neat interplay by the away side.
Greenwood’s second however was all of his own making as he weaved his way through the defence of their much-weaker opponents before playing a one-two and dispatching the ball into the net.
The double takes the forward’s tally with the Madrid-based outfit to three following his maiden strike in a 2-2 draw against Celta Viga last month.
On Wednesday Greenwood thought he had notched another to seal a hat-trick but the effort was disallowed. His second effort put the visitors 6-0 up before his team-mates added considerable shine to the result with six additional goals.

And according to The Mirror, his displays for Getafe have caught the attention of a number of LaLiga clubs, chief among them Sevilla.
The seven-time Europa League winners are said to be keeping tabs on Greenwood, whose £75,000-a-week deal with United ends in June 2025.
