Rio Ferdinand will demand Joleon Lescott's Premier League winners' medal if Manchester City are punished for Financial Fair Play breaches.
The Citizens are under investigation after being charged with more than a ton of FFP violations, some of which date back over a decade and all of which they deny. The club are now staring down the barrel of a major points deduction and possibly even relegation after Everton had 10 points deducted for breaking the rules, and Ferdinand says he'll make the most of it if City's 2011/12 Premier League triumph is rescinded.
Discussing the situation on his FIVE podcast, the Manchester United legend said: "I'm ringing Joleon Lescott up if anything happens with City and they get punished, Joleon, I want your medal hand delivered to my house, and I'm wearing that medal. That Aguero moment's gone."

City famously pipped United to the title on the final day of the 2011/12 season to land their first ever Premier League title, courtesy of a last-gasp Sergio Aguero winner against QPR. Lescott was at the heart of City's defence that season and claimed the first of his two winners' medals, earning the second one in 2013/14.
Whether City are at risk of being stripped of past honours isn't known, though some think it could happen given the enormity of the allegations against the Manchester club. There is no precedent for teams being stripped of titles in English football history, though City's 115 FFP charges is similarly unprecedented.

Lescott won four major honours in total at the Etihad Stadium. He joined the club from Everton in 2009, and made 160 appearances before leaving for West Brom in 2014. He also made 26 times for England, often sharing a dressing room, and a pitch, with Ferdinand.
City were charged with 115 breaches of the Premier League's financial rules regarding sponsors and contracts across a nine-year time span back in February following a four-year investigation. The Manchester club has continually pleaded its innocence and insists it has "irrefutable evidence" that it has not fallen foul of regulations.
