Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell is set to miss at least eight weeks with a hamstring injury, according to reports.

The 26-year-old suffered the injury in the closing stages of Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Brighton in the Carabao Cup last Wednesday.
Mauricio Pochettino issued a worrying update on the extent of Chilwell’s injury before his side’s 2-0 victory over Fulham on Monday evening.
And according to The Telegraph, Chilwell will be sidelined until at least December and could be out for an even longer period of time, depending on his recovery.
Chilwell will now be unavailable during a key period in Chelsea’s season where Pochettino’s side play Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Manchester City and Brighton.
England manager Gareth Southgate also faces a headache at left-back as both Chilwell and Luke Shaw will be absent for his side’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy.
When asked about the extent of Chilwell’s injury on Friday, Pochettino said: ‘Bad news.
‘The doctor told me is it is a bad injury but we need to assess in the next few days.

‘It doesn’t look good. We are very sad about the news about Ben. It’s difficult to know [when he will return]. We need to assess in the next few days.
‘The doctor will tell us and the club will communicate. Yes [it’s the same leg as last season]. I think so. It’s the mechanism of the action. He was a little bit unlucky in the way he suffered the injury. It’s very sad because he was having a very good game.’
