Carabao Cup draw ball numbers and time as top Premier League clubs enter

Interest in the Carabao Cup cranks up a notch tonight as the top Premier League clubs are drawn into the competition.

The Premier League side not involved in European competition entered the competition this week, with the bulk of second round ties taking place on Tuesday night.

Tottenham are the competition’s biggest casualty so far after losing on penalties to Fulham following a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage. Meanwhile, the biggest upset was caused by Salford City – part-owned by Manchester United's ‘Class of 92’ – who dumped out Championship Leeds following another shootout.

There are still a few second round ties to take place, including crisis-torn Everton’s trip to League Two Doncaster Rovers. Chelsea, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Burnley and Sheffield United are also in action tonight.

It will then be time for the clubs involved in the Champions League, Europa League and the UEFA Conference League to enter the fray, including last season’s winners Manchester United, who will be ball number 16.

The draw will take place live on Sky Sports after the Doncaster-Everton game from around 10pm.
