Eagles acquiring safety Kevin Byard via trade with Titans

The Philadelphia Eagles are acquiring safety Kevin Byard via trade with the Tennessee Titans, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, per a source.

The Titans are receiving S Terrell Edmunds and 2024 fifth- and sixth-round draft picks from the Eagles in exchange for Byard, Rapoport reports.

Byard, a two-time All-Pro selection, has 47 tackles and one fumble recovery in six games played this season. The 30-year-old veteran has collected 27 interceptions, four sacks, three forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in his eight-year career.
