WWE RAW: Stone Cold Steve Austin returns, Becky Lynch set for history, triple threat clash

Stone Cold returns

Stone Cold Steve Austin will return to RAW to moderate the Universal Championship contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.

Universal Champion Rollins will put the title on the line against his fellow RAW Tag Team Champion Strowman at Clash of Champions this Sunday at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Austin is known for bringing trouble with him so fans should expect this segment to come to blows; it may even include a Stone Cold Stunner from the WWE Hall of Famer.

US Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC as well as Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, who will get a RAW Tag Team title shot this weekend, could get involved.

King of the Ring semi-final

Ricochet and Samoa Joe’s King of the Ring quarter-final bout ended in a double pinfall last week.

Baron Corbin, who defeated Cedric Alexander on the same night to advance, thought both of his potential semi-final opponents were eliminated and he would automatically qualify to the final.

However, referees decided that both Ricochet and Joe will battle in the Final Four and that means they will take on Corbin in a Triple Threat Match tonight.

The winner of the fight will face either Elias or Chad Gable in the final at Clash of Champions.

Four Horsewomen collide

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley were known as The Four Horsewomen during their time at NXT.

Now all four of the popular superstars will share the ring at the historic Madison Square Garden for the first time ever in a Tag Team Match.

RAW Women’s Champion Lynch will team up with Charlotte and will take on Banks as well as SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.

Rey Mysterio vs Gran Metalik

Rey Mysterio was on the verge of retirement last month but his son Dominick talked him out of it because he wants to team up with his father when the day of his debut comes.

After deciding to extend his career it was announced that Mysterio will share the ring with fellow luchador Gran Metalik in New York.

The fans can expect a high-flying spectacle that could exceed expectations in a big way.

AJ Styles vs Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander’s King of the Ring hopes were tarnished last week after Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and US Champion AJ Styles of The OC attacked him backstage before his quarter-final match with Baron Corin.

Alexander will look for some retribution tonight when he takes on the faction’s leader Styles.

If the ex-Cruiserweight Champion picks up an upset victory over The Phenomenal One then he could get a title shot at Clash of Champions.
