WWE Extreme Rules: What’s next for The Undertaker ahead of SummerSlam?

Undertaker teamed up with Roman Reigns and defeated Shane McMahon as well as Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred Tag Team Match at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Taker picked up the victory for his team after delivering a devastating Tombstone Piledriver on McMahon after Reigns took out McIntyre with a stunning Spear.

It now seems very likely that The Deadman will return to action at the biggest WWE Pay-Per-View event of the summer SummerSlam at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

At this point in time, The Phenom’s likeliest opponents for the historic PPV show are McMahon, McIntyre and Elias.

Rumours suggested that a WWE advertisement leaked in Canada hinting that Undertaker will face The Scottish Psychopath at SummerSlam.

However, that speculation has been denied as there have been previous reports suggesting that the seven-time world champion will instead face McIntyre at WrestleMania 36.

It has been claimed that the ex-WWE Champion hand-picked The Scottish Terminator as his next opponent at WrestleMania.

The two heavyweights teased an imminent rivalry at Extreme Rules as they had a heated confrontation during the early moments of the match.

Undertaker could also rekindle his rivalry with McMahon, whom he has faced many times in the past.

The former World Heavyweight Champion defeated the ex-SmackDown Commissioner in an extremely violent Hell in a Cell Match at WrestleMania 32.

The two WWE superstars are also in advanced ages so a fight between them could be the safest option.

There’s also a chance that Undertaker could take on Elias who is still working with McMahon and McIntyre.

The Last Outlaw took out The Drifter on RAW after WrestleMania 35 with his patented Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver combo.

Rumours suggested they would face off at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia after that shock attack.

Elias’ interference might be an indication that the ex-NXT star wants revenge from the wrestling legend.
