The Queen of the Palace has endured some tough luck at Ally Pally since her run to the third round in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Sherrock was defeated by Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena in the first round. The 29-year-old has now failed to win her last four matches at the tournament, failing to match her fairytale run four years ago.<\/p>\n<p>She remains a distance away from making the transition from PDC Women&#8217;s Series to the 128 Tour card holders. Sherrock came close to bridging that gap in January but adding her name to the exclusive list of players with a Tour card continues to elude her.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 Grand Slam quarter-finalist will return to the Qualifying School event near her home in Milton Keynes to see if she can get any closer to earning the Tour card. She admitted to being upset at failing to do so last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m going to give it another go \u2013 it&#8217;s only 10 minutes from my house!\u201d Sherrock said after being beaten by Wattimena.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/4\/590x\/secondary\/Fallon-Sherrock-PDC-World-Darts-Championship-5121257.jpg?r=1702914015671\"><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was upset to miss out last time because I was so close. I had been there all week, and losing out like that also makes you stronger and more determined.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I was so close and I don&#8217;t want to feel like that again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sherrock struggled against Wattimena.
