Thomas Tuchel has warned Manchester United that Harry Kane is ‘looking forward to’ their upcoming Champions League clash.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Tuchel’s Bayern Munich will travel to Old Trafford on Tuesday night for the final game in their Champions League group – with the German side already qualified for the next round.<\/p>\n
United, on the other hand, have it all to play for. In order to progress, they must beat Bayern while hoping for a draw between FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.<\/p>\n
And the task facing Erik ten Hag’s side looks even less\u00a0surmountable after Tuchel suggested former Spurs star Kane was keen on returning to England for the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to The Sun, he said: ‘Yes, for him 100 per cent. He is a winner \u2014 he is a champion.<\/p>\n

‘It’s nice to go back to England and to Old Trafford. Harry will love it I think and is looking forward to it.<\/p>\n
‘Harry is a top pro and a fantastic guy who has adjusted very well to life in Germany.’<\/p>\n
The German champions were handed dealt their first league loss in the 2023-24 campaign in the form of a 5-1 thrashing by Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kane was unable to prevent Bayern’s heavy defeat, however, Tuchel has still insisted that the England captain has settled in well in Germany.<\/p>\n
The result sees Tuchel’s side lose ground on league leaders Bayer Leverkusen – who now hold a three point advantage at the summit of the Bundesliga table.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ex-Chelsea manager Tuchel added: ‘Life in Munich is a good life.\u00a0<\/span>He is fluent in German! Munich is a safe city \u2014 a beautiful city.<\/p>\n ‘We have a lot of nature and a lot of golf courses for Harry when he has some time off. And everybody speaks English, which is good for him, that helps him a lot.’<\/p>\n Tuchel has claimed that Bayern Munich ‘need a reaction’ heading into their clash with Manchester United, after suffering defeat in the Bundesliga.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n United will be looking to bounce back after their 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday\u00a0<\/p>\n According to SPORT1, manager Tuchel said:\u00a0‘We underestimated the danger of the situation and completely gave the game away very early on.\u00a0<\/p>\n ‘I have confidence in my team. There’s no point in badmouthing everything now. It continues on Tuesday. Old Trafford.
