It&#8217;s All Kicking Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jamie Carragher admitted he was delighted to see Liverpool&#8217;s rivals Everton score against Chelsea after the travelling fans sung &#8216;Feed the Scousers&#8217; during Sunday&#8217;s Premier League clash.<\/p>\n<p>Abdoulaye Doucoure gave the home side the lead shortly after half-time and the Blues supporters proceeded to sing the song that is deemed to be highly offensive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The chant, which is sung to the tune of Band Aid&#8217;s Christmas song &#8216;Feed the World&#8217; has been around since 1984 when the Christmas hit was first released.<\/p>\n<p>The meaning of Feed The Scousers chant is derogatory and implies that Liverpool fans are poor or hungry and that they rely on handouts to survive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Merseyside native Carragher was far from impressed and took to Twitter in response.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Feed the Scousers&#8217;, he wrote with the &#8216;weary&#8217; emoji. &#8216;Delighted Everton have gone in front after the nonsense getting sung by the Chelsea fans.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/10\/16\/78792579-12847517-image-a-61_1702227171225.jpg\" height=\"357\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jamie Carragher hit out at Chelsea&#8217;s away fans after they sung a derogatory chant\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/10\/16\/78792625-12847517-image-a-63_1702227212174.jpg\" height=\"186\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Everton\u2019s second win in four days kept Sean Dyche\u2019s side climbing the Premier League table as a toothless Chelsea found Goodison Park to be as difficult a place as Newcastle in a 2-0 defeat.<\/p>\n<p>This may not have had the flourish of Thursday, when the hosts scored three goals in the last 11 minutes, but the manner of victory would have been no less pleasing to the Toffees boss.<\/p>\n<p>Having kept the visitors at bay relatively comfortably, Abdoulaye Doucoure struck early in the second half and substitute Lewis Dobbin drilled home his first Premier League goal in added time as Everton moved four points clear of the bottom three despite their points deduction.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/10\/16\/78792577-12847517-image-a-62_1702227175592.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Blues supporters sung &#8216;Feed the Scousers&#8217;
