<\/p>\nEx-Liverpool man and Jurgen Klopp favourite James Milner has revealed how a fine system helped build their trophy-laden side.<\/p>\n
Milner played 323 times under Klopp and he duly became a trusty lieutenant under the German both in the dressing room and on the pitch. The 61-time England international lifted every trophy there was to win at Anfield and paid homage to Klopp\u2019s intriguing fine system during his time at the club.<\/p>\n
The 37-year-old, who left Liverpool in the summer to join Brighton & Hove Albion after eight years on Merseyside, spoke about a bizarre fine system at the club which was decided using inflatable dice and a randomly selected jury.<\/p>\n

Milner revealed that some fines could even be hilariously handed out for wearing \u201cflip flops in the gym\u201d, speaking on the High Performance podcast, he said: "We had the fines. We had a court case, we had a big inflatable dice, you had to roll it and things like that. <\/p>\n
"If someone was late but they had a reason or flip flops in the gym and there was a reason. We randomly drew who was on the jury that day and I would basically be running the court and arguing why someone should be fined, and someone would argue the case if they shouldn't be fined."<\/p>\n

The former Red revealed that an inflatable dice would be rolled which could see the player further punished or get off the hook, he continued: "So the dice was you can either pay the fine or you had different things.<\/p>\n
"One would be a double payment. One would get off with it. One would be a forfeit.<\/p>\n

"Bobby Firmino was on a Swiss ball trying to balance to throw a tennis ball into a foam roller and he had three attempts and if he got it he didn't have to pay."<\/p>\n
Milner was a part of Klopp\u2019s Liverpool side that won all there is to win in English and European football, he admitted that games such as the fine system would increase the players\u2019 togetherness, he added: "It was a good togetherness thing and I think that these little things create that dressing room."<\/p>\n
