Tottenham are reportedly planning to submit a huge offer to Juventus for the services of Dusan Vlahovic, who has been tipped as Harry Kane’s long-term replacement in north London. Vlahovic has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United previously being credited with an interest in his signature.

Tottenham previously tried to snap him up over the summer as a replacement for Kane but the move did not come to fruition and he ended up staying at Juventus. Things could change when the bidding opens again in January, though, with the Italian giants said to be bracing themselves for a new approach.

Vlahovic has been deemed as the ‘ideal’ signing by Ange Postecoglou and will be the subject of a ‘mind-boggling’ offer at the turn of the year, according to TVPlay. The report claims that Tottenham are preparing to submit a bid in the region of £68.5million, which Juventus would be willing to accept in exchange for the Serbian forward.

Spurs would also be looking to tempt Vlahovic with a salary of around £12.8m per season, which works out at nearly £250,000 each week. This would make him the club’s highest earner by some distance but it remains to be seen if that would be enough to convince him to join the north Londoners.

He has scored a total of 28 goals in 75 appearances for the Old Lady, with five of those coming in his 12 matches so far this season.

He would still be a shrewd signing for Tottenham, though, with Spurs yet to replace Kane with an out-and-out goalscorer following his move to Bayern Munich. They signed Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest on the final day of the summer window but the Welshman has only managed to score once in the Premier League since joining the club.
