<\/p>\nA lucky punter has won one of the bets of the season by turning \u00a310 into \u00a382,000.<\/p>\n
The Betfair customer placed a bet on eventualities in the Aston Villa vs Manchester City match which were priced at 200\/1 and coupled it with a similar effort during the Manchester United vs Chelsea clash. <\/p>\n
The punter backed Aston Villa to win, get the most corners in each half and have the most shots on target across the game, which came in after a stunning performance from the Birmingham-based side. <\/p>\n

At Old Trafford, they backed the same eventualities but with United as the winning side.<\/p>\n
It meant that the \u00a310 stake returned a whopping \u00a382,410 to win one of the most spectacular bets of the football season so far.<\/p>\n
It wasn't the only big winner from Betfair during Wednesday night's action. Another customer turned \u00a32.50 into over \u00a320,000 with the exact same bet.<\/p>\n

Villa's win over City turned heads on Wednesday night, not least because the defending champions did not have a single shot after the 11th minute of the match. <\/p>\n
Leon Bailey's goal in the second half ensured City lost their first Premier League game in two months – and dropped them down to fourth in the table.<\/p>\n
Villa's great run continued, which also includes 14 home wins in a row, and lifts them up to third and improbably into Premier League title contention. <\/p>\n
