The atmosphere is incredible in Resistencia.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;There are so many people, driving at night, at dawn&#8230; I think it&#8217;s really cool.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/04\/12\/78553203-0-image-a-52_1701694121557.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Max Verstappen has opened up on his desires to compete in Le Mans 24 hour race\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/04\/12\/78553131-0-image-a-53_1701694134604.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The three-time F1 world champion also revealed that he had already been in talks with a rival driver over forming a potential partnership for the race<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/04\/12\/78553205-0-image-a-54_1701694138747.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old has dominated in the F1 over the past two seasons and hinted at another race he wants to win during his motorsport career<\/p>\n<p>Having dominated in F1 over the past two seasons, being crowned champion at the Qatar Grand Prix before going on to win all seven of the last races of the season, the 26-year-old is eyeing up his next challenge within the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Le Mans takes place annually during the summer at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe and is a test of racing endurance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Teams must rotate between three drivers during the 24-hour race, with drivers not being allowed to stay behind the wheel for more than a total of 14 hours, with drivers swapping out between various pit stops.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And when asked who his ideal partner for the race would be, Verstappen revealed that he had already been speaking with Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso about joining up as a partnership.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;ve been talking to Fernando (Alonso) about it,&#8217; Verstappen said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He [Alsonso] said he&#8217;d just want to do it with me again. So I told him it would be great.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/04\/12\/78553019-0-image-a-55_1701694142211.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Red Bull driver claimed that he and Fernando Alonso had spoken about potentially racing at Le Mans together<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/04\/12\/78553095-0-image-a-56_1701694148148.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>He also stated that Alonso had said he &#8216;wanted to do it again with Verstappen&#8217; with the Spaniard having won the race twice before with Toyota<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The only thing is, for Le Mans, there&#8217;s no minimum weight for the driver. I&#8217;m a quite a heavy competitor, so I would have to find light teammates to compensate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;But Fernando is quite light, so that would be very good for us.
