He said it&#8217;s &#8216;an extra motivation and a joy&#8217;, as the two-time Major champion also mentioned that while he appreciates being compared to the &#8216;Big Three&#8217;, he doesn&#8217;t aim to mimic any players as he wants to be &#8220;100% Carlos Alcaraz.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The world No. 2 revealed that he appreciates the extra support he gets from fans of Djokovic&#8217;s biggest rivals when he plays against the Serbian.<\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8220;I&#8217;m a guy who watches social media a lot and every time I face Djokovic, there are always fans cheering me on. It is an extra motivation and a joy to have those fans of Rafa or Federer perhaps, not all, but a large part, cheering me on when I play against him or against any player. It is wonderful.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Mexico before an exhibition event, Alcaraz discussed the comparisons made between him and the legendary trio and talked about his rivalry with Djokovic. But the Spaniard was keen to impress upon fans his own unique style amid the influence of tennis greats on his game.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/72\/590x\/secondary\/5094096.jpg?r=1701389779638\"><\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8220;I perceive that I am Carlos Alcaraz. We don&#8217;t set out to copy any style from any of the three.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz has spoken about his desire to be recognised for his own unique style of play.<\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8220;Obviously, for someone like Djokovic to say that I have the best of the three best players in the history of our sport, for me it is wonderful, but really, inside, I want to think that I am not any combination of any player. I would agree with that. I think he&#8217;s got basically the best of all three worlds.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz also shared his experiences playing against Djokovic and Nadal, expressing his eagerness to face Federer in the future.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;Playing against a legend like Novak Djokovic is not easy. It is a joy to have been able to beat him twice.
