Their \u00a347million summer signing misjudged two Hakim Ziyech free-kicks that went past him on a difficult evening for the stopper.<\/p>\n

Both teams were pushing for a winning goal during the closing stages and United came desperately close to letting Onana off for his errors. Substitute Facundo Pellistri had a couple of chances but could not breach the home goal, ensuring that United\u2019s fate will not be in their own hands in their final group match.<\/p>\n

At the full-time whistle, Onana was clearly disappointed with his own performance, as he furiously took off his gloves and threw them onto the ground. The 27-year-old shook his head repeatedly and covered his face with his shirt before leaving the pitch with his team-mates.<\/p>\n

He was aware that his errors had cost the team again, but Ten Hag refused to point the finger at his goalkeeper and provided an update on his mental state after the match. \u201cHe is OK,\u201d Ten Hag said of Onana. \u201cIt is not about an individual.
