Max Verstappen jokingly suggested skipping media obligations to embark in Sin City’s night life after winning the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Verstappen cruised to yet another F1 victory on Saturday night, coming in ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez to prevail in the first Sin City race for 41 years.

After celebrating his latest win, the Dutch star hopped in the back of a camera-equipped Rolls Royce with Leclerc and Perez to get from the circuit to the Bellagio Hotel & Casino for post-race interviews.

‘Where are we going?’ Leclerc asks in a clip of their car ride, before joking: ‘To the club?’

‘We go straight to the nightclub!’ Verstappen said in response. ‘Skip everything. See you tomorrow everyone… or not!’

Leclerc and Perez both got a crack out of the joke as they were seen smiling at the suggestion.

Verstappen had been very vocal with his disappointment at the Las Vegas Grand Prix all week. The reigning F1 world champion had expressed his frustration about it feeling more like a music festival and rave than a sporting event.

However, that did not affect his performance come race day.

Verstappen won the race soundly despite being handed a five-second penalty for forcing Leclerc off the track early on. Later in the race he was on the opposite end of another penalty after colliding with Mercedes’ George Russell.

Red Bull looked to secure a one-two finish before Leclerc roared past Perez to cement himself in second place.

The win in Las Vegas is Verstappen’s 53rd Grand Prix title in his already decorated career. He has also won the last six GPs in 2023.
