{"id":296613,"date":"2023-11-08T11:23:55","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T11:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/?p=296613"},"modified":"2023-11-08T11:23:55","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T11:23:55","slug":"west-brom-in-discussions-with-at-least-two-possible-buyers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/soccer\/west-brom-in-discussions-with-at-least-two-possible-buyers\/","title":{"rendered":"West Brom in discussions with at least TWO possible buyers"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>West Brom in discussions with at least TWO possible buyers and could be sold for around \u00a360m&#8230; as reign of unloved owner Gouchuan Lai edges towards its conclusion<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Several overseas investors are reportedly interested in buying West Brom\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The club, worth around \u00a360million, are in discussions with at least two buyers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>CHRIS SUTTON: Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a CLOWN &#8211; It&#8217;s All Kicking Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>West Bromwich Albion are in discussions with at least two possible buyers as the reign of unloved owner Guochuan Lai edges towards its conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>The financially-troubled Championship club are thought to be available for about \u00a360million and have attracted interest from overseas groups including one understood to be based in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Takeover specialist David Hinchliffe, described on the website of legal firm Walker Morris as \u2018one of the best in the field in advising on the acquisitions and disposal of football clubs\u2019, is believed to be involved in the process and Hinchliffe was seen in the directors\u2019 box for Albion\u2019s home game against Hull on November 4.<\/p>\n<p>Hinchliffe and his team have advised on several takeovers including Evangelos Marinakis\u2019 acquisition of Nottingham Forest in 2017 and Andrea Radrizzani\u2019s of Leeds United in the same year.
