Luis Diaz came off the bench to salvage a draw for Liverpool after rising highest at the back-post in stoppage time and score a late equaliser for the visitors at Kenilworth Road.<\/p>\n
Luton were so close to recording their first Premier League home win after Tahith Chong’s clinical finish set the hosts on course for victory.<\/p>\n
The former Man United winger came off the bench in the second-half and placed himself perfectly to finish a counter-attack initially led by Ross Barkley.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Darwin Nunez\u00a0sought to continue his recent goalscoring form with a powerful early effort against Luton that rattled the crossbar. It likely would have been a goal if he had chosen placement over power.<\/p>\n
The visitors failed to capitalise on their chances and Luton began to grow in confidence as the clock ticked by in the capital.<\/p>\n

Tahith Chong initially put Luton ahead after latching onto a cross played deep into Liverpool’s box<\/p>\n

Chong met a cross from close-range to give Luton a late lead at Kenilworth Road<\/p>\n
Luton sat deep and waited for the perfect opportunity to pounce that presented itself to Ross Barkley who raced out of his own half before kick-starting a piece of play that ended with Chong poking the ball past Alisson.<\/p>\n
Liverpool attempted to try and get back into the game but were frustrated by a stubborn Hatters defence that was difficult to break down.<\/p>\n
Eventually it would be a moment of brilliance from Diaz that got Liverpool out of triouble as he leapt highest in the box to score a stoppage time header.<\/p>\n
