Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand claims that the Red Devils are in a crisis.<\/p>\n
Ferdinand, 44, launched a passionate rant ahead of their\u00a0Premier League clash with Fulham.<\/p>\n
Erik ten Hag’s side come into the clash at Craven Cottage off the back of a defeat to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils also suffered a big defeat to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in their last league outing – with Ferdinand revealing that people are starting to question Ten Hag.<\/p>\n
Speaking on TNT Sports ahead of United’s showdown with the Cottagers, the ex-England defender said:\u00a0\u00a0\u2018In times like this where it\u2019s a crisis – I believe this is a crisis right now – it\u2019s not about performance, it\u2019s about getting three points on the board.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ferdinand also claims that it is the first time in Ten Hag’s tenure that people are starting to question him.<\/p>\n
‘This is the first time in his tenure, Erik ten Hag, that\u2019s he\u2019s being questioned. It\u2019s the first week I think people are really questioning him,’ he continued.<\/p>\n
‘I think the club and everything else has been questioning his tenure here, which has been difficult, but him personally, all eyeballs are on him. What are you going to do right now?\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Are you going to change the tide? He\u2019s got big questions to answer right now.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Red Devils currently sit eighth in the Premier League table – having won just five times from 10 games so far this season.<\/p>\n
Ten Hag’s side were dealt a huge blow ahead of the game as\u00a0Marcus Rashford was excluded from Manchester United’s squad to face Fulham due to injury, while Raphael Varane has been benched for Jonny Evans again.<\/p>\n
Rashford did not train yesterday and underwent a fitness test ahead of the match but has not made the team.<\/p>\n
