UFC stalwart Marc Diakiese to heading to Brazil to take on a home favourite fighter – and he's hoping to be booed by the crowd.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old lightweight, nicknamed Bonecrusher, failed in an appeal to overturn his July submission defeat against Joel Alvarez despite the referee missing a huge clash of heads.<\/p>\n
Now looking to get back to winning ways with a professional record of 16-7, the Congolese-born English star is not feeling the pressure of being the away fighter – but relishing it.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Daily Star Sport<\/b> on fightweek before the November 4 bout in Sao Paulo, Diakiese said: "I don't usually take much notice of the fans, they are just there.<\/p>\n
"They'll always be there and I'm just here trying to do my job. But if they're gonna start booing me, that's even better.<\/p>\n
"I feel, to be honest, I fight better when people booing me – so that's pretty good for me."<\/p>\n

Diakiese appealed his July defeat but failed to get the loss overturned which puts him on consecutive defeats after back-to-back wins.<\/p>\n
Despite that, he remains grateful for the position he is in and won't be dwelling on the past ahead of his 15th UFC bout.<\/p>\n
He concluded: "This isn't about me knowing I've got two losses in a row, it's just always about having to go and try to perform out here.<\/p>\n

"It is what it is and I can't complain. I'm just grateful to be doing what I'm doing and I'm going to go and have some fun."<\/p>\n
His opponent this time around is UFC debutant Kaue Fernandes who hails from Rio de Janeiro and has a pro record of 8-1.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old is a former LFA fighter winning his last two fights by TKO and looking to get his UFC career underway with another highlight reel victory.<\/p>\n
