{"id":294216,"date":"2023-10-19T08:09:01","date_gmt":"2023-10-19T08:09:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/?p=294216"},"modified":"2023-10-19T08:09:01","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T08:09:01","slug":"tommy-fury-hits-out-at-ksi-after-youtube-star-insisted-he-was-robbed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/soccer\/tommy-fury-hits-out-at-ksi-after-youtube-star-insisted-he-was-robbed\/","title":{"rendered":"Tommy Fury hits out at KSI after YouTube star insisted he was &apos;robbed&apos;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Tommy Fury SLAMS KSI after YouTube star claimed he was &#8216;robbed&#8217; in their boxing match &#8211; as former Love Island star insists that &#8216;hugging and doing starjumps does not win fights&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tommy Fury has hit back at KSI&#8217;s claims that he was &#8216;robbed&#8217; during their fight\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Fury triumphed via a unanimous decision against the YouTube star on Saturday\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mail Sport&#8217;s new boxing podcast &#8216;The Hook&#8217; will be available every Tuesday\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tommy Fury has lashed out at KSI&#8217;s claims that he was &#8216;robbed&#8217; during their boxing fight on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>Fury, a professional boxer, went the full six rounds with the YouTube star at Manchester Arena, finishing narrowly ahead 57-56 on two judges&#8217; scorecards with the third an erroneous 57-57 draw.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after the bout, KSI furiously insisted that he&#8217;d been &#8216;robbed&#8217; on the night and that the judges&#8217; scores were &#8216;outrageous&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Many fans on social media agreed with the KSI&#8217;s claims and insisted the decision was &#8216;farcical&#8217; &#8211; with many citing the fact\u00a0Fury landed just 12 jabs during the fight.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the former Love Island star has spoken out for himself and insisted that the YouTube star was &#8216;hugging and doing starjumps&#8217; throughout the bout.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/17\/09\/76649091-12639161-image-a-21_1697532605102.jpg\" height=\"338\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>In an interview on ITV, Tommy Fury (pictured) hit back at claims KSI was &#8216;robbed&#8217; in their fight<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/17\/09\/76649159-12639161-image-a-22_1697532650889.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Fury triumphed via unanimous decision after his bout with the YouTuber on Saturday night<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/17\/09\/76570491-12639161-KSI_has_insisted_he_was_robbed_after_being_beaten_by_Tommy_Fury_-a-23_1697532659527.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the bout, KSI insisted he was &#8216;robbed&#8217; at the AO Arena in Manchester<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on ITV, Fury said: &#8216;It has got my blood racing again. [I] can come out and say hugging and doing starjumps in the ring does not win the fight.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He can go on about he was robbed but it was his show, his officials, his judges. So you&#8217;re saying that your own people that you employed robbed ya?&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Fury&#8217;s victory against KSI\u00a0was initially ruled as a &#8216;majority decision&#8217; victory before being corrected as &#8216;a unanimous decision&#8217; after one of the judges&#8217; scorecards was added up incorrectly.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was announced that the judge in question scored the fight as a 57-57 draw when he actually scored it 57-56 to Fury.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The other two judges also scored the six-round fight 57-56 to Fury as the Love Island star secured a controversial victory in Manchester.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict was greeted with anger by KSI, with the YouTuber insisting he had beaten his professional rival.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I understand the Fury name. I won it. It&#8217;s outrageous,&#8217; KSI told DAZN. &#8216;Minus a point as well. I landed the cleanest shots.
