{"id":293942,"date":"2023-10-12T00:23:54","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T00:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/?p=293942"},"modified":"2023-10-12T00:23:54","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T00:23:54","slug":"adam-gilchrist-lifts-the-lid-on-wild-night-out-with-shane-warne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/%d1%81ricket\/adam-gilchrist-lifts-the-lid-on-wild-night-out-with-shane-warne\/","title":{"rendered":"Adam Gilchrist lifts the lid on wild night out with Shane Warne"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Adam Gilchrist lifts the lid on WILD night out with Shane Warne that saw another Aussie cricket legend get nude on top of a moving cable car<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Aussie team celebrated win on mountain top<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Warne organised a cable car to take them up<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Hayden stripped nude and climbed onto car<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aussie cricket great Adam Gilchrist has revealed the details of a wild night out in Cape Town in 2006 with Shane Warne that ended with\u00a0Matthew Hayden nude on top of a cable car as it travelled up a mountain.<\/p>\n<p>The Australians had just taken a 2-0 lead in a three-match series against the Proteas and someone had the idea to sing the team&#8217;s song &#8216;Under The Southern Cross I Stand&#8217; at the top of nearby Table Mountain.<\/p>\n<p>The only drawback was getting up to the top of at night when the cable cars weren&#8217;t running.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We got a bus, Warnie made a few calls, it was about midnight,&#8217; Gilchrist told &#8216;Browny&#8217;s Podcast&#8217; with Campbell Brown.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The cable car that goes up the Table Mountain in Cape Town &#8211; for those who&#8217;ve been there, it&#8217;s stunning &#8211; but it&#8217;s midnight, it&#8217;s all shut down.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/23\/76450099-12620947-Adam_Gilchrist_has_spilled_the_bean_on_the_Aussie_team_s_celebra-a-3_1697063799860.jpg\" height=\"565\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Adam Gilchrist (pictured right with Shane Warne) has spilled the bean on the Aussie team&#8217;s out-of-control celebrations after a win in South Africa in 2006\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/23\/76450097-12620947-image-a-3_1697063331032.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Shane Warne organised a cable car to take himself, Gilchrist (pictured) and Matthew Hayden to the top of Cape Town&#8217;s world-famous Table Mountain at midnight<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Warnie, couple of phone calls, next minute, the operator&#8217;s up there cranking up the big cable car.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Hayden then decided to take off all his clothes and climb onto the roof of the cable car as it was moving.<\/p>\n<p>His teammates decided to follow him up there and pretty soon the whole team were on top of the car.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We go up, but not in the cable car &#8211; on top of it, which is ridiculous, we were all hammered. Ridiculous,&#8217; Gilchrist said.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell Brown asked: &#8216;Not secured?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Gilchrist replied: &#8216;Nah.
