Liverpool have been tipped to sign Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia if they lose Mohamed Salah next summer. However, the winger’s arrival would create a new problem for Jurgen Klopp as he may be forced to play Dominik Szoboszlai in a different position.<\/p>\n
Liverpool fought off interest from the Saudi Pro League to keep Salah late in the summer transfer window. Al-Ittihad were reportedly prepared to pay up to \u00a3200million for the Egypt superstar.<\/p>\n
Interest is expected to be reignited in the January window. However, Liverpool will hope they will be able to convince Salah to stay until the end of the season at least.<\/p>\n
Former Reds left-back Stephen Warnock says Salah is replaceable, just like Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho were. He says next summer would be the right time for Salah to seek pastures news.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve said it about Suarez, I\u2019ve said it about Coutinho, and he [Salah] will be replaceable in time.<\/p>\n “I think the big problem is with Salah if you get a \u00a3175million offer from Saudi Arabia that\u2019s difficult to say no to. I wouldn\u2019t sell him in January but maybe next season, but only if you\u2019ve got someone else lined up.”<\/p>\n Warnock believes Kvaratskhelia is the type of player Liverpool should be pursuing. The Georgia star has seen his reputation go through the roof in the last 12 months after leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.<\/p>\n However, Kvaratskhelia has played the vast majority of his career as a left winger, the opposite side to Salah.
