But even the Manchester United icon didn&#8217;t resort to Erik ten Hag&#8217;s extreme treatment of Jadon Sancho during his short managerial career.<\/p>\n<p>Ten Hag has banished Sancho from his United first team after the 23-year-old publicly challenged his authority at the start of September.<\/p>\n<p>Sancho reacted poorly to his exclusion from the Red Devils&#8217; 3-1 defeat at Arsenal, effectively calling his manager a liar over the reasoning he offered after full-time.<\/p>\n<p>The No 25 hasn&#8217;t featured in five consecutive matchday squads while Ten Hag awaits an apology, outcasting him until he receives one.<\/p>\n<p>And Keane has claimed he never resorted to barring one of his players while he helmed Sunderland and Ipswich Town from 2006 to 2011.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve never banished a player to play for the reserves as a manager, but obviously, every story is different,&#8221; Keane told the Stick to Football podcast, presented by Sky Bet.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because it&#8217;s Manchester United, maybe everyone is looking for them to make a mistake.
