Michael Olise has suffered another hamstring injury and is now expected to be unavailable for the significant future, according to reports.<\/p>\n
The Crystal Palace winger is yet to feature this season after being side-lined with a hamstring tear that he suffered while on international duty with the France Under-21 side in June.<\/p>\n
He had been recovering well and was nearing a return in what would have been a huge boost to Palace boss Roy Hodgson but is now set to miss further games, as reported by the Evening Standard.<\/p>\n
Olise has aggravated the hamstring injury during his rehabilitation and is expected to be out of action until after the October international break.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old will continue to be assessed by Palace as they assess the extent of his injury and attempt to determine a timescale of when he will be available for selection.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His initial injury was expected to keep him out of action for three months and was even involved in light team training drills as he edged towards making his return.<\/p>\n
Olise starred for Palace last season, scoring two goals and impressing with his all-round play, as the Eagles guided themselves to comfortable Premier League safety.<\/p>\n

Palace manager Roy Hodgson was hoping to have his star winger back in the first-team soon before his new injury<\/p>\n
Chelsea pursued the France international and looked set to seal his transfer away from Selhurst Park after the Blues activated his \u00a335million release clause.<\/p>\n
However, Olise U-turned and committed to a new four-year deal with Palace, but is yet to feature while remaining side-lined with a difficult muscle complaint.<\/p>\n
He was named Palace’s player of the season last year after assisting 11 goals in the Premier League during his breakthrough campaign at the club.<\/p>\n
Olise is expected to miss upcoming matches against Fulham, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.\u00a0<\/p>\n
