It\u2019s crazy. People are looking for a scapegoat, that\u2019s the way the media is right now people look for a scapegoat and go that\u2019s the reason.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I see people saying [Marcus] Rashford isn\u2019t working hard enough, or Bruno [Fernandes] is the captain. Ralf Rangnick\u2019s comments when he left were along the lines of this doesn\u2019t need medicine this needs open heart surgery,&#8217; he added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;No one looked at that comment and thought \u2018let me dig into that\u2019. It shows you that not one individual is going to solve this problem. We had Cristiano Ronaldo, what he\u2019s done in the game, and he can\u2019t solve it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We\u2019ve had a load of managers come in with huge reputations and they haven\u2019t sorted it out. Spent a lot of money and that hasn\u2019t sorted it out. We\u2019ve juggled the pack behind the scenes with recruitment teams and the structure and personnel and that isn\u2019t going to change it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;There needs to be a unified approach for it to happen. One of the biggest problems is the ownership,&#8217; he added.<\/p>\n<p>United&#8217;s controlling owners have been dangling the club&#8217;s availability since November last year when it was announced they were looking for additional investment.<\/p>\n<p>A subsequent bidding war broke out between Qatari billionaire Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, however the Glazers are now believed to be reluctant to sell and instead want to wait in an effort to raise the value of the club.<\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand, like many Man United supporters, wants an immediate sale of the club and blasted the Americans &#8211; who were last seen at United&#8217;s FA Cup final defeat against Man City &#8211;\u00a0 for their lack of communication that he insists is the root of current issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/18\/19\/75566151-12532467-image-a-3_1695061326493.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Erik ten Hag is beginning to come under pressure after a torrid start to the new season<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/18\/19\/75566153-12532467-image-a-4_1695061329103.jpg\" height=\"579\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand believes United&#8217;s problems are rooted to the Glazers refusing to sell the club<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;These owners, the Glazers, I don\u2019t care what they say now. Since June we haven\u2019t heard from them and even then it was tepid. Communication in any line of work, in any business, is vital for a business to be able to flourish, to prosper, to function properly and their lack of communication is deafening,&#8217; stated Ferdinand.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It\u2019s been disgraceful in my eyes. This is a fragile changing room, this is a fragile infrastructure, and there is new people coming in and out\u2026 this ownership aren\u2019t communicating to help that.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We need communication now more than ever and they aren\u2019t getting it and that\u2019s where my anger and frustration comes from.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Surely they love the it? Surely they love the club? But I\u2019m being led to believe no they don\u2019t it\u2019s just a business, cold-hearted. The silence speaks so, so, so much.
