    A new England kit launched to mark the 150th anniversary match against Scotland has gone down a storm with fans.<\/p>\n

    The sides meet at a sold-out Hampden tonight for a celebration of the oldest fixture in international football. In honour of the occasion, a special England kit has been produced.<\/p>\n

    Modelled by captain Harry Kane ahead of the game, the kit certainly belongs in the \u2018old-school\u2019 category. It carries the original crest from that first meeting between the counties in 1872, with the year just below it.<\/p>\n

    But there\u2019s a catch: It\u2019s not a match kit. In fact, it will only be worn in the warm-up and it won\u2019t be available for general sale. However, it will help raise money for a worthy cause, with the shirts being auctioned off to raise funds for the FA\u2019s charity partner, the Alzheimer\u2019s Society.<\/p>\n

    Many fans have called for the shirt to worn in the match and made available to buy.<\/p>\n

    One fan: "Oh come on, why aren't you allowing them to wear it in the match properly? And why aren't they being sold???"<\/p>\n

    A second added: "And we couldn\u2019t wear in the game because?" A third agreed: "Oh boo, I thought they were going to wear it for the match. Looks great."<\/p>\n

    A fourth posted: "That is miles better than the actual kit, can't you wear it for the match instead?" A fifth demanded: \u201cMake them and sell them.\u201d<\/p>\n
