Manchester United are set to receive a loan offer from Al-Ettifaq for Jadon Sancho, according to reports.<\/p>\n

Erik ten Hag has been unhappy with Sancho\u2019s effort levels in training and made his feelings clear after United\u2019s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u2018On his performance on training we didn\u2019t select him,\u2019 Ten Hag said.<\/p>\n
\u2018You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn\u2019t selected.\u2019<\/p>\n
Sancho quickly hit back at Ten Hag\u2019s accusation and said the United manager had made him a \u2018scapegoat\u2019 in a statement on Instagram.<\/p>\n
According to CBS Sports, Al-Ettifaq are keen to offer Sancho an escape route and have now opened talks over the possibility of signing the United winger on loan.<\/p>\n

The Saudi Pro League side, who are managed by Steven Gerrard, are also said to be open to making any loan deal permanent.<\/p>\n
Al-Ettifaq have already signed Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Demarai Gray and the former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele this summer.<\/p>\n
The Saudi Pro League transfer window closes on September 7 at 10pm GMT.<\/p>\n
Al-Ettifaq have registered three wins, one draw and a defeat from their opening five league games this season.<\/p>\n
