{"id":289890,"date":"2023-09-07T14:21:26","date_gmt":"2023-09-07T14:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/?p=289890"},"modified":"2023-09-07T14:21:26","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T14:21:26","slug":"greenwood-looking-for-a-house-in-madrids-quiet-footballer-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sports-life-news.com\/soccer\/greenwood-looking-for-a-house-in-madrids-quiet-footballer-district\/","title":{"rendered":"Greenwood &apos;looking for a house in Madrid&apos;s quiet footballer district&apos;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Mason Greenwood &#8216;is looking for a house in Madrid&#8217;s quiet footballer district for his girlfriend, son, father and himself&#8217; as he tries to start a new life in Spain after loan move to Getafe<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Greenwood received a rapturous welcome from Getafe fans at his unveiling<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Forward joined on loan after agreeing to leave Man United by mutual consent\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Reports in Spain say Greenwood is property hunting in an upmarket town\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mason Greenwood is reportedly searching for a family home in the upmarket Boadilla del Monte district of Madrid as he settles into life at Getafe.<\/p>\n<p>The forward has signed for the LaLiga club on loan after leaving Manchester United by mutual agreement and received a rapturous welcome from thousands of fans when unveiled by Getafe on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood, 21, was charged with attempted rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and controlling and coercive behaviour in October 2022.<\/p>\n<p>All charges were dropped in February 2023 but United announced last month that he would leave after conducting their own internal investigation and he signed for Getafe.<\/p>\n<p>While LaLiga pauses for the international fixtures, Relevo report that Greenwood, with the help of Getafe, is searching for a property for himself, partner Harriet Robson, his son and his father.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/07\/14\/75157079-12491887-image-a-25_1694093114849.jpg\" height=\"432\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Mason Greenwood is reportedly searching for a property in the upmarket\u00a0Boadilla del Monte district of Madrid as he settles into life at Getafe\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/07\/14\/75157081-12491887-The_former_England_international_was_unveiled_in_front_of_Getafe-a-26_1694093164406.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The former Manchester United forward was unveiled in front of Getafe supporters this week<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/07\/14\/75167949-12491887-image-a-38_1694093386304.jpg\" height=\"487\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Greenwood is reportedly searching for a house in the\u00a0Boadilla del Monte district, located to the west of Madrid city centre and a 25-30 minute drive to Getafe\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>The Boadilla del Monte neighbourhood, located to the west of central Madrid, is popular with high earners, including footballers, because of its seclusion.<\/p>\n<p>It is a 25-30 minute drive along the M-40, Madrid&#8217;s orbital motorway, from the town to Getafe&#8217;s stadium.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, the town was found to have the second highest level of income per capita in all of Spain and in August 2021, it was found to have Spain&#8217;s second-lowest crime rate.<\/p>\n<p>But that didn&#8217;t stop the Spain and Real Madrid player Dani Carvajal having his house broken in to by three men wielding iron bars in September last year.<\/p>\n<p>Carvajal called upon the &#8216;state security bodies&#8217; to provide footballers with protection given they are obvious targets for criminals.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood&#8217;s property search comes after he was greeted by thousands of cheering Getafe supporters at their Coliseum stadium earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>He emerged from the tunnel accompanied by pyrotechnics and walked to the centre of the pitch to address the crowd. Greenwood told fans he was &#8216;feeling good&#8217; and was &#8216;happy to be here&#8217; as he looks to resurrect his career.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Robson was seen smiling in the sunshine ahead of the unveiling in an Instagram post.
