Mason Greenwood's new club, Spanish side Getafe, once released a video urging fans to become sperm donors – so they could have more season ticket holders.

Greenwood joined the Spanish side on loan on Transfer Deadline Day after Manchester United confirmed he would leave the club last month.

Greenwood and United came to an agreement he wouldn't play for the club again, following an internal investigation into the allegations of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault against him.

The 21-year-old had seen the charges against him dropped following an investigation from the Crown Prosecution Service.

Let us know in the comments section

The cheeky video opens with a shot of an empty stand, and a voiceover says: "There's a problem: there aren't many of us." Before the camera pans down to a man's crotch.

We next see the man in a sperm donor clinic, where's he handed a DVD called Zombies Calientes de Getafe , or Getafe's Hot Zombies. The 1970s adult film shows young women – with Getafe memorabilia – drinking a potion that turns them into sex-mad zombies.

The idea was the man found the video so erotic, he had no problem donating sperm. Before we know it a woman is holding a baby with the message: "The more the better."

The club's marketing director José Antonio Cuetara said the film is "controversial but very good," before joking the club hope to improve on their 9,000 season ticket holders.

While Angel Torres, who made the film, said the campaign isn't directed towards at anyone inparticular – "just those with a sense of humour".

Torres added: "If the campaign is successful, we'll have to build a bigger stadium!"
