I get it. All I can say around that is that I\u2019m sorry that they feel like that. My intention was never, ever to hurt anyone. My intention has always been to help causes and communities where I felt like they have asked for my help .<\/p>\n<p>Henderson was one of three Liverpool players to move to the Saudi Pro League, with Fabinho signing for Al-Ittihad and Roberto Firmino linking up with Al-Ahli as a free agent.<\/p>\n<h3>Recommended<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/static.independent.co.uk\/2023\/09\/05\/07\/2bbe15b08bb1620121169d837dec8214Y29udGVudHNlYXJjaGFwaSwxNjkzOTY0MTEz-2.37874469.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/static.independent.co.uk\/2023\/09\/03\/16\/40b960fcf586465cef74757418053dfaY29udGVudHNlYXJjaGFwaSwxNjkzODM5NzY3-2.73580534.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/static.independent.co.uk\/2023\/09\/01\/17\/newFile-2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old, who is yet to score for Al-Ettifaq, has helped Gerrard\u2019s side to a positive start, currently sitting fifth in the table after five games.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson was cautious when pushed about future involvement in the Rainbow Laces campaign, highlighting the prospect that it could \u201cdisrespect the religion and culture in Saudi Arabia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson also insisted his move to the Saudi Pro League will have a positive impact, but stopped short of predicting any meaningful change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think people know what my views and values were before I left and still do now. And I think having someone with those views and values in Saudi Arabia is only a positive thing. I can\u2019t promise anything, but what I can do is sit here and say I have my values and beliefs,\u201d Henderson added. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m comfortable knowing exactly what I am and exactly what I stand for. But I get and I can accept not everyone\u2019s going to get that.
