<\/p>\nGary Neville doesn’t buy reports that the Glazers have taken Manchester United off the market. The Red Devils icon believes they can’t afford to do so having run themselves into desperate financial straits.<\/p>\n
According to the Daily Mail,\u00a0the Glazers intend to put Man Utd back on the market in 2025 in the hopes that Erik ten Hag can deliver major silverware over the next two seasons and boost the club’s sale price. The Glazers have chosen to dig their heels in after their \u00a36billion asking price wasn’t met by prospective bidders Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.<\/p>\n
Both suitors are understood to have made proposals of around \u00a35b. A source told the Mail: “The Glazers are thick-skinned and won\u2019t be influenced by any negative fan reactions.”<\/p>\n
But Neville thinks they will be forced to sell in the end. \u201cI don\u2019t believe the Glazers not selling\/doing anything story,\u201d he wrote on social media.<\/p>\n
