Paris Saint-Germain for striker Hugo Ekitike.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They are running parallel negotiations with Corinthians for Yuri Alberto and have made an approach for Peterborough United defender Ronnie Edwards, 20.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <span>Mail Sport<\/span> on Tuesday, the Hammers will remain in the market for a forward, even after securing the transfer of Mohammed Kudus, with Ekitike, Yuri Alberto and Sevilla&#8217;s Youssef En-Nesyri among their targets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ekitike moved to the Parc des Princes on loan from Reims in 2022, but has scored just four goals in 32 appearances at the club.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Alberto has one cap for Brazil and has scored 52 goals in 158 appearances for Brazilian sides Internacional and Corinthians.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img made 16 appearances.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Edwards has been a mainstay of Peterborough&#8217;s back four for the past two seasons, racking up 74 appearances in the Championship and League One.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A towering centre back, the England U20 international has played every minute of the Posh&#8217;s league campaign so far.<\/p>\n<p>West Ham, Burnley and Borussia Dortmund are also keen on Chelsea left back Ian Maatsen, while Everton\u00a0have added West Ham winger Maxwel Cornet to their list of late targets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/30\/08\/74864015-12460273-image-a-14_1693381437196.jpg\" height=\"357\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>West Ham&#8217;s Maxwel Cornet has emerged as a target for Everton late in the transfer window\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Ivory Coast international made just 21 appearances in all competitions last season after arriving from Burnley in an \u00a318million deal and has played just one minute of Premier League football this season.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, as revealed by <span>Mail Sport&#8217;s<\/span> Transfer Confidential column earlier this week,\u00a0Maatsen&#8217;s decision over a new contract could have a bearing on Marc Cucurella&#8217;s departure from Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Cucurella is available for loan and Manchester United made enquiries on Saturday but Chelsea may not be so sure if Holland U21 international left back Maatsen doesn&#8217;t commit to a new deal.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old has been offered a lengthy deal but is unsure over the terms and the validity of signing it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/30\/08\/74863717-12460273-image-a-13_1693380844111.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>West Ham are also interested in Chelsea left back and Holland U21 international Ian Maatsen\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mauricio Pochettino has been impressed with Maatsen and the club would prefer to let Cucurella go at this stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cornet&#8217;s West Ham team-mate Pablo Fornals, meanwhile, has interest from Saudi Arabia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old made 50 appearances for the Hammers last season and scored the winner in the return leg of the Europa Conference League semi-final against AZ Alkmaar.<\/p>\n<p>Fornals started in West Ham&#8217;s first game of the season against Bournemouth, but came off the bench in the wins against Chelsea
