What Man Utd ace Romelu Lukaku said about summer transfer after Belgium beat Scotland

The Belgian striker has been strongly linked with a summer move after a difficult season

Inter Milan are understood to be lining up a move as manager Antonio Conte is a big fan.

Paris Saint-Germain have also set their sights on the former Chelsea and Everton hitman.

Lukaku was asked about his future after scoring twice as Belgium beat Scotland in Euro 2020 qualifying but remained tight-lipped on his potential next destination.

“I have a contract with Man United,” he said.

“I’ll speak with my club and my agent Federico Pastorello to make the best decision.

“I am going to enjoy my holidays with my family now.

“I know what I’ll do, but won’t say it. We’ll see. If I expect a busy summer? Yes.”

The 26-year-old started just 22 Premier League games last season and scored 12 goals.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly keen to sell as he plots a summer overhaul of his struggling squad.

While Inter appear to be his most likely destination, the two clubs are said to be miles apart in terms of their valuation.

United are said to want to recoup most of the £75million they paid Everton to sign him in 2017.

However, previous reports have claimed the Italians would prefer a swap deal that would involve Ivan Perisic moving to Old Trafford.

Solskjaer has already begun his summer rebuild with the capture of winger Daniel James from Swansea.

The Norwegian is also keen to bring in a new centre-back and reportedly submitted man £84m bid for Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly.

Express Sport understands he also wants to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho.

However, a deal for Sancho now appears unlikely as United cannot offer him Champions League football.
