With less than a fortnight left in this summer’s transfer window, the countdown is on for clubs to agree deals, complete medicals and put together the final pieces of their squads.

The Premier League entered its second round of fixtures on Friday as Nottingham Forest edged out a 2-1 win over newly-promoted Sheffield United, while Liverpool, Brighton, Brentford, Tottenham and Manchester City all picked up important wins on Saturday.

Meanwhile, £100million man Harry Kane netted on his domestic Bayern Munich debut as the Bundesliga kicked off on Friday.

Players are continuing to move to the Middle East in droves as Neymar joined world-class talents Cristiano Ronaldo, N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia, agreeing a £78m move to Riyadh-based club Al-Hilal.
