Soccer Saturday pundits Paul Merson, Clinton Morrison, Tim Sherwood and Michael Dawson were left in stitches after they started their weekend broadcast with a birthday message to host Jeff Stelling.
Stelling, who was celebrating his 68th birthday, opened the show with a slight chuckle, welcoming viewers to the show before the camera panned to the pundits with their birthday message for the broadcaster.
Just off to Stelling's left were the quartet, with Morrison, Sherwood and Dawson holding up a happy birthday banner complete with party hats.

Stelling said: "Very good afternoon to you, welcome to this Gillette Soccer Saturday, with me today, Paul Merson, Clinton Morrison, Tim Sherwood and Michael Dawson – what the heck are you doing?"
Naturally, the pundits replied with "happy birthday Jeff" before erupting into laughter. Morrison even went one further too, wishing fellow pundit Paul Merson well for his upcoming 54th birthday next week.
Stelling has been the face of Sky's Saturday afternoon football broadcast since 1994, with the Hartlepool born presenter beloved across the UK for his excellent hosting skills.

Back in 2021, the now 68-year-old had announced that the 2021/22 campaign would be his last presenting Soccer Saturday, only to announce he would be staying on until at least the end of the 2022/23 season – to the delight of fans across the country.
Stelling said: "Sky Sports is my home, and the Soccer Saturday team are a big part of my life, and as the end of the season approached and I was preparing to say goodbye, I realised that I was not ready to blow the final whistle and leave the best job in the world.
"I'm thrilled to be staying and excited about moving the show forward and creating more special Saturday afternoons on Sky Sports."
