Ryan Giggs has finally sold his luxury home after slashing £500,000 off the asking price.
The ex Manchester United star had put the mansion up for sale for £3.5million.
But in February the Mirror told how, after it failed to sell for two years, he was forced to reduce it.
Now the “rightmove” website says it has been sold, subject to contract.
Former Welsh winger Giggs, 47, shared the five-bedroom home with his ex-wife Stacey and their two children.
Following their 2017 divorce he moved out and lives in a £1.7million property nearby in Worsley, Greater Manchester.
The £3million home boasts a swimming pool, cinema room and bar.
It is set within its own private secure gated plot surrounded by woodland and a golf course.
