Paul Scholes has agreed with Thierry Henry that Kylian Mbappe has the edge in the debate with Erling Haaland.
Mbappe and Haaland are two heirs apparent to the throne currently occupied by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. And despite Haaland setting the Premier League alight in his first couple of months on these shores, the two pros both still think Mbappe has the edge.
Speaking on The Overlap, Scholes said: "I'd go Mbappe, I think he's got more to his game, he's not just an out-and-out centre forward. He can go wide, he can dribble past people, he's fast, and he can play one-twos.

"Haaland, look Haaland's f***ing amazing don't get me wrong, but he's just a goalscorer isn't he."
Earlier this week, Henry told CBS: "Mbappe can create and finish. Haaland doesn't create. He finishes. Mbappe can play on the right and on the left. He can play in the middle. Haaland can only play in the middle.

"He is a magnificent player and with him, they can win the Champions League last year. Against Real Madrid, if it was him at the end of those chances that they missed, they will have been focused on scoring one or two. For now, Mbappe is still my vote."
Haaland has silenced critics during the opening weeks of the Premier League – finding the net 11 times in his opening seven games.
While Mbappe, fresh off the back of his net multi-million-pound contract, has notched seven in seven Ligue 1 appearances for PSG.
