It happened on a fine night for the Paris Saint-Germain forward, who scored twice in a 3-0 win for Argentina against Jamaica. The first came in trademark style, driving towards goal before finding the bottom corner with a fine strike just outside the box.
The second was another that Messi has made a career of – a magical free-kick. The set-piece was expertly bent around the wall and into the corner that sent the American crowd into hysteria.
