Presenter Kelly Cates' 'awkward' dig at Gary Neville ahead of Fulham's match against Man City left the Sky Sports pundit cackling.
Before the ad break in the build-up to the match, Cates said: "Up next, an awkward but surprisingly insightful star of television meets Ted Lasso." And Cates' hilarious quip sent Neville into a fit of laughter.
Cates made the dig after Neville's interview with fictional TV manager Ted Lasso this week. Neville and Lasso, real name Jason Sudeikis, discussed the show on Sky Sports and spoke about a number of football-related stuff.

Neville also made light of his failures as a boss when plugging the interview on social media. He scoffed: "Not unusual I know but a more successful football coach than me!" Lasso's also issued an apology to Jesse Marsch in the interview for unintentionally putting pressure on American managers with his success.
Lasso said: "Nothing intentional. I haven't had the opportunity to apologise or explain myself to Jesse Marsch. I understand, I think it's a little lazy for anybody to correlate the two but it was never our intention." But Marsch brushed off the claims and told Lasso he's a huge fan of the show in a tweet.

The former Leeds boss wrote: "No worries, Jason Sudeikis! I'm a big fan." As for Cates, she's building a reputation for her witty quips aimed at co-presenters on Sky Sports.
Neville, along with Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane fell victim to Cates after they argued about Liverpool's 7-0 annihilation of Man United. The pundits were eager to get the last word in, but Cates beat them to it when she rounded off the show with: "Liverpool sharp off the tee at Anfield this afternoon.
"They've beaten Manchester United by seven goals to nil, it's a record for this fixture. Mo Salah is now Liverpool's record Premier League goalscorer… and they didn't even play that well, goodnight.", prompting fans to label her the "best in the business," for the witty conclusion.
