Jude Bellingham and Charlie Adam have led emotional tributes after the tragic passing of Ryan Blair.
The father-of-one was a defender for Downfield Juniors, having grown up in Dundee.
Ryan played at junior level for Dundee, and was fondly known by several professional stars.
In addition to sending their heartfelt condolences, both Jude Bellingham and Charlie Adam have urged those who are struggling to reach out for support and not suffer in silence.
Adam wrote: “Thoughts are with the family and friends of Ryan Blair, don’t suffer in silence please speak out.
“There is so much help @BackOnside @SAMHtweets.”
With Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Bellingham writing: “RIP Ryan Blair. Another one gone far too soon.
“If you’re struggling, never be afraid to talk & if you want to help, always be willing to listen.
“You never know the battles someone is fighting inside and it doesn’t take much to make someone feel loved.
“My condolences to his family and friends.”
A statement from his club reads: “All at Downfield JFC are devastated to hear the sad news of defender Ryan Blair passing away.
“Although not long with the club Ryan became a treasured team mate and friend of all at the club. Our thoughts are with Ryan’s family."
With former club Lochee United saying: "Everyone at Lochee United are devastated to hear of the sudden passing of former player Ryan Blair.
"Ryan was a well respected teammate and friend to everyone associated with the club.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this extremely sad time. RIP Ryan…Thanks for the memories."
