LIVERPOOL and Manchester City are tied atop the Premier League table after Chelsea dropped points in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
The Red Devils looked home after Anthony Martial’s double handede them the lead, before Ross Barkley’ 96th minute equaliser spoiled the party – and helped cause a fracas on the touchline.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds registered a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield as Mohamed Salah got back among the goals, while City were rampant in a 5-0 win over Burnley as five different players got on the scoresheet.

Elsewhere, Spurs beat West Ham 1-0 care of an Erik Lamela strike, Cardiff got their first win as they beat Fulham 4-2, while Bournemouth and Southampton played out a scoreless draw.
Newcastle are still winless after going down 1-0 to Brighton, as Wolves were beaten 2-0 by Watford.

Salah has struggled for consistency this season, and was a doubt for the trip to West Yorkshire after suffering a hamstring problem while on international duty with Egypt during the week.
But in the 24th minute he steered in Xherdan Shaqiri’s pass to score his 50th goal in English club football, ensuring Liverpool ended Saturday level on points with league leaders Manchester City.

After a rare goalless outing in their last league fixture, a draw at Liverpool, City’s win featured two goals in as many minutes early in the second half from Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho, adding to Sergio Aguero’s first-half effort, before Riyad Mahrez and Leroy Sane completed the rout.

Erik Lamela fired Tottenham into the Premier League’s top four as the revitalised winger clinched a 1-0 win against London rivals West Ham on Saturday.
Lamela struck with a cool header late in the first half at the London Stadium to give Tottenham their fourth successive league victory.
That made it five goals in just eight appearances this season for Lamela, who was making only his second league start of the campaign.

WOLVES 0-2 WATFORD
Watford struck twice in 58 seconds and cruised past Wolverhampton 2-0 to end a five-match winless run in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Watford rose above Wolves into seventh.

Abdoulaye Doucoure set up midfielder Etienne Capoue to hit a 30-yard drive through Conor Coady’s legs into the bottom corner, without goalkeeper Rui Patricio moving.
Just 58 seconds later Doucoure fed Roberto Pereyra on the left, and the forward sent a brilliant finish over Patricio and into the roof of the net.

NEWCASTLE 0-1 BRIGHTON
Newcastle dropped to the bottom of the English Premier League after extending its winless start to nine games in losing to Brighton 1-0 at home on Saturday.
There was a touch of fortune about Beram Kayal’s 29th-minute strike, which came via a deflection off Jose Izquierdo’s volley, on an afternoon when Brighton striker Glenn Murray left the field on a stretcher with a head injury. Newcastle’s defeat was all the harder to take for manager Rafael Benitez as he saw his team create more than enough chances to take at least a point.

CARDIFF 4-2 FULHAM
Cardiff recorded its first win of the season in the English Premier League by beating Fulham 4-2 and moved off the bottom of the standings on Saturday.
Fulham scored the best goal of the game – through Andre Schurrle’s 30-meter strike – but the league’s leakiest defense soon conceded twice, to Josh Murphy and Bobby Reid.
Ryan Sessegnon equalized before halftime with his first Premier League goal, but makeshift striker Callum Paterson restored Cardiff’s lead, and substitute Kadeem Harris secured the victory three minutes from time.
Fulham, which has conceded 25 goals in nine games, dropped into the bottom three.

BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 SOUTHAMPTON
Southampton failed to score for the fourth straight Premier League game as it held Bournemouth to a 0-0 draw in the south coast derby on Saturday.
The Saints played their part in a tight encounter at the Vitality Stadium but struggled to create and have now gone 385 top-flight minutes without finding the net.
Sixth-place Bournemouth, which kept its unbeaten home record, needed 72 minutes to produce an effort on target.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg threatened three times from distance for the visitors, while Adam Smith, David Brooks and Joshua King squandered decent openings for the home side.
Southampton, which last went four Premier League games without a goal in 2004, lost its previous three league fixtures by an aggregate score of 8-0.
