Bruno Fernandes left Manchester United fans stunned as he pulled off a cheeky nutmeg on team-mate Marcus Rashford in training.
The Portuguese star is hoping to help his side compete for the Premier League title this season, building on his 11 goals and eight assists since arriving in January.
He appears to have competition in the midfield, though, with the arrival of Donny van de Beek and Paul Pogba’s fitness.
But footage has emerged from the latest training session showing the 26-year-old is the one to beat, brimming with confidence.
In the clip, Fernandes is practicing an attacking drill with Rashford where a player receives the ball before facing a one-on-one.
The Englishman puts pressure on United’s No.18 as he dribbles with the right foot, drawing the forward in.
And the 22-year-old puts out a left boot, stabbing at the ball while giving the Portuguese star an opportunity.
Fernandes pushes the ball between his legs before sprinting away while Rashford can only laugh at being fooled by the midfielder.
This footage has been viewed more than 40,000 times within hours of being published on United’s official YouTube channel, where the United faithful were left stunned.
“You did Marcus dirty there, Bruno,” one supporter said.
Another commented: “Bruno is having fun.”
While a third made a big prediction for the 26-year-old’s second season at Old Trafford.
“Bruno will get the most assists in the Prem this season – he is a leader,” they said.
And a fourth fan added: “Bruno has the maturity of a 40-year-old.”

Fernandes’ new team-mate van de Beek has given his take on life at United after two weeks of training.
He told MUTV: “Everyone has helped me a lot and wanted to make me feel at home and this is really good for me and it has given me the confidence to play.
“I cannot wait to play many games with them.
“There are a lot of young players in the group, around my age, and I think this is a really big opportunity for me to help the team.”
