Premiership final 2019 player ratings: Jamie George stars for Saracens after comeback victory against Exeter

Saracens retained the Premiership title to become two-time double winners after a 37-34 victory over Exeter Chiefs saw the north London side add the Twickenham final to their European success this season.

In one transpired to be a final that will rank among the greats, both sides scores five tries apiece to set up a thrilling final quarter, and by the time the final whistle blew on the 2018/19 season, the boot of Owen Farrell was the only thing to split the teams as his first-half penalty proved the difference.

Exeter claimed the early advantage as scrum-half Nic White scored in just 27 seconds from Exeter’s own kick-off, but Saracens responded to take the lead with tries from Jamie George and Ben Spencer.
